“ANTI-DRUG AWARENESS RALLY”

•  Organised by the Anti- drug club associated with the Rotaract Club of Shivani Engineering College and Tamil Nadu Police, Inamkulathur.

  •  Venue: In and around Inamkulathur areas

  • Anti-Drug Awareness Rally on 3rd November 2026 to create awareness among the public about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to promote a drug-free society.

  • The programme was organised by the Rotaract Club of Shivani Engineering College, with the active participation of students from Shivani Engineering College and S.S.K. Polytechnic College.

  • The event was inaugurated by Mr. Sankar, DSP, in the presence of Mr. Tamilselvan, Sub-Inspector of Police, and Mr. Shanmugam, Special Sub-Inspector of Police, Inamkulathur.

  • The programme was felicitated by Mr. G. Stephen Rajkumar, Registrar, Shivani Engineering College.

  • More than 150 students from both institutions enthusiastically participated in the rally, spreading messages against drug abuse and highlighting the importance of a healthy and responsible lifestyle. The rally covered various areas around Inamkulathur, creating public awareness about the social, physical and psychological consequences of drug addiction.

  • The event was successfully coordinated by:

  • Mr. S. Stalin – Assistant Professor.

  • Mr. A. Vijay Prabhu – Physical Director and Anti-Drug Club Coordinator.

  • Mr. Vijayarengan – Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering with the successful cooperation with Tamilnadu police, Innamkulathur

  • All faculties from Shivani Engineering College and SSK. Polytechnic college were participated in this meaningful awareness Event.

  • The rally served as a meaningful initiative to encourage youth participation in building a drug-free society and strengthening the bond between educational institutions, police personnel and the community.
