SHIVANI INNOHUB & FLAVOUR FEST – 2026

Celebrating Innovation, Creativity and Culinary Entrepreneurship

• Shivani Engineering College, Trichy, organized “Shivani InnoHub & Flavour Fest – 2026” on 29 August 2026 at 10:45 a.m. at the Seminar Hall. The programme was jointly organized by the Department of Biomedical Engineering and the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) with the objective of fostering innovation, creativity, teamwork and entrepreneurial skills among students and faculty members.

• The programme was presided over by Dr. P. Selvaraj, Chairman, Shivani Institutions. Mr. V. Manoj Dev, Senior Project Manager, AIVERZ Technologies, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Welcome Address

• The programme commenced with a warm Welcome Address delivered by Prof. A. Karpagam, Head, Department of Biomedical Engineering. She welcomed the dignitaries, faculty members and students and highlighted the importance of innovation, creativity and practical learning in engineering education.

 Felicitation Addresses

• Er. S. Vigneshwaran, Secretary, Shivani Institutions, delivered the Felicitation Address and appreciated the initiative undertaken by the organizing departments. He encouraged students to develop innovative ideas and transform them into meaningful and practical solutions.

• Er. T. S. Prabhakaran, Treasurer, Shivani Institutions, delivered his Felicitation Address and congratulated the organizers and participants. He emphasized the importance of creativity, teamwork and entrepreneurial thinking in preparing students for future professional challenges.

• The Principal, Vice Principal, Dean and Registrar also delivered their Felicitation Addresses and appreciated the efforts of the organizing departments and the enthusiastic participation of the students.

Shivani InnoHub

• The Shivani InnoHub provided an inspiring platform for students to showcase their innovative ideas, projects and creative solutions. The initiative encouraged students to apply their technical knowledge to real-world challenges while developing their problem-solving, communication and presentation skills.

Flavour Fest

• The Flavour Fest added colour, enthusiasm and creativity to the programme by providing students with an opportunity to showcase their culinary talents and entrepreneurial abilities. The activity encouraged students to demonstrate teamwork, planning, presentation, creativity and innovative thinking, while giving them practical exposure to the fundamentals of culinary entrepreneurship.

Vote of Thanks

• The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by the students. The students expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Chief Guest, Principal, Vice Principal, Dean, Registrar, Heads of Departments, faculty members and all those who extended their support and cooperation towards the successful conduct of the event.

Conclusion

• The Shivani InnoHub & Flavour Fest – 2026 was a vibrant and successful celebration of innovation, creativity, technical talent and entrepreneurship. The collaborative efforts of the Departments of Biomedical Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering contributed significantly to making the event an enriching, engaging and memorable experience for the entire Shivani community.
