WOMEN’S DAY 2026 – AWARENESS PROGRAMME
On the occasion of International Women’s Day 2026, Shivani Engineering College, Tiruchirappalli, organized an awareness programme on 04.03.2026.
The session was delivered by Dr. P. Ramya, Psychologist, on the topic “Emotional Intelligence for Women.” During the programme, the speaker explained the importance of emotional intelligence in managing stress, improving relationships, building self-confidence, and making better decisions in both personal and professional life.
The event was coordinated by Mrs. A. Karpagam, Head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering. The Principal, Vice Principal, Dean, Heads of various Departments, and all women faculty members graced the occasion with their esteemed presence.
Students from first year to final year actively participated in the programme. The session helped them enhance their personal, social, and emotional skills, and encouraged them to develop confidence and leadership qualities.
The programme was well organized and successfully arranged by the college management, making the event meaningful and informative for all the participants.
